FIRST YEARS OF ABC SANCTIONED LEAGUES IN SPRINGFIELD:

Springfield had ABC sanctioned teams in 1903-04-05-06-15-16-18-19-21. From 1923 until the present date, Springfield has had ABC sanctioned leagues and bowlers. It is believed that in the years where no counts are shown, that there were bowlers and leagues. However, it is not known if they were sanctioned.

NAME OF THE LOCAL ASSOCIATION:

Association. The name was changed To Greater Springfield USBC BA in 2005.

TYPE OF MEMBERSHIP:

The association operated under the ABC team plan of membership until the 1974-1975 season, when it changed to the ABC Individual Plan of membership. changed to the USBC plan of membership in 2005.
